Not medical advice
Repvia is a general fitness and nutrition tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app — including calorie and macro targets, workout plans, coaching suggestions, readiness scores, supplement logs, community recipes, or anything generated automatically — is medical, dietary or professional advice. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. We do not guarantee any particular fitness, weight, health or body-composition result.
Talk to a professional first
Consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise programme or changing your diet, especially if you:
- are under 18 (in which case you should also involve a parent or guardian, and preferably a clinician familiar with adolescent health);
- are pregnant, breastfeeding or recently postpartum;
- have, or have had, a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, or any other chronic condition;
- have joint, bone, back or muscle injuries;
- take prescription medication;
- have, or have had, an eating disorder;
- are significantly over- or underweight;
- are new to exercise or returning after a long break.
Estimates, not prescriptions
Targets and plans are calculated from standard formulas and the information you give. They are estimates, and they can be wrong for you. Nutrition data from food databases and other users may be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not verify recipes, ingredients or food databases for allergens, intolerances, or interactions with medications — always check labels and professional advice if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Devices and sensors, including Apple Watch and GPS, can give inaccurate readings. Always use your own judgement.
We do not endorse, verify the safety of, or recommend any specific supplements listed or logged in the app.
Listen to your body
Stop exercising immediately and get medical help if you have chest pain or pressure, severe shortness of breath, dizziness or fainting, an irregular heartbeat, or sudden or severe pain. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
Coaches and other users
Advice from coaches, trainers or other users in the app is their own, not ours. We don't verify their qualifications. You are solely responsible for any personal or health data you choose to share with coaches or other users, and for how they use it. If a coach or user promotes unsafe practices or medical misinformation, report them using the in-app report tools (see our Community Guidelines).
Eating disorders and wellbeing
If tracking food, weight or body measurements is affecting your wellbeing, consider taking a break from tracking and speaking to a healthcare professional. In the UK you can contact Beat (beateatingdisorders.org.uk); in the US, the National Alliance for Eating Disorders (allianceforeatingdisorders.com). If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
Your responsibility
By using Repvia, you accept that you take part in any exercise or nutrition programme voluntarily and at your own risk, and that you are responsible for your own health decisions. To the extent permitted by law, [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY NAME] is not liable for any injury, illness or loss that results from using the app. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence). Our Terms of Service contain the full liability terms.
